About Me

Growing up in a rural community helped develop my core beliefs of family, community, compassion, honesty, and loyalty. It also taught me that any thing deserving requires hard work. Becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner from Indiana Wesleyan University has provided a lifelong career that has meaning and value to me.

Throughout my life and career, I have tried to work to raise awareness of social issues, ranging from how people with mental health conditions are treated in society to how we can better understand and reach out to those that are affected. My experience as an emergency room nurse and a family nurse practitioner has given me a keen interest in helping to treat those individuals who are affected, to instill hope, encouragement, and love with those with whom I come in contact with daily.

My goal is to be able to become a provider that can help those individuals with medication management along with therapy to not only think but help in making them the individuals they know they can be within themselves.

If you feel you need additional help to go along with your therapy, stop in to my office.
