About Tiffany Farmer, MSSW, LMFT

Welcome to Tiffany’s Office

Tired of hiding how you really feel.

Have you ever wondered what happens in a therapy session? You’ve probably thought that if you haven’t been able to get answers to your problems by now, maybe there aren’t answers available.

You have tried talking to others close to you, but they don’t seem to fully grasp how serious you are when you say that you are suffering right now. And maybe they can’t see that because you hide it so well.

But when you’re alone, you know that it’s not sustainable to live with so much anxiety, and it’s not realistic to keep bottling everything inside.

Seeking help to meet your needs

You have a fair bit of insight into what is going on with you, and you’ve attempted to do what you know is right.

But now, you’re here. You’re at the point where it is finally time to reach out to someone, and you’re ready to find out what someone else may have to offer you.

You are needing to know that you’re not alone, while at the same time needing to be respected as unique. You want to be affirmed and challenged because you believe that’s where the growth lives.

It would help if you dug deeper, but you also need a good laugh occasionally. You are craving change, but there’s so much good in what you’ve already built for yourself.

It’s about balance.

It would be best if you had balance in your own life, your perspective, the extremes of your mental health, and you especially need stability in the therapy room.

You want to know that your therapist respects your time and investment.

You want to learn and grow with your therapist, but it would help if you liked them. You need your therapist to be a wealth of knowledge but also to know their lane and be willing to provide outside resources.

I am hoping to be that therapist who provides that space where you can find balance in your life.

No more hiding, time to find balance

Now, I challenge you to begin breaking from the stigma of mental health.

Make a choice based on your needs and break away from the generations who might not agree with your decision to go the route of therapy.

I challenge you to begin anew – to start this work, your work – right now.

Call me today at (502) 333-9466 to make the first huge step toward your most authentic and best life.

About Me

Tiffany FarmerExperience prompted my passion.

I was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, CA, and moved to Louisville at 17 years of age to begin college on a policy debate scholarship. I found my husband and began to build my family – and I just never left.

My passion and drive for working relationships was born in Los Angeles. The appealing aspects of “the hood” aren’t often highlighted. I developed a great appreciation for the strength of the love, care, protection, and sacrifice among community relationships, family bonds, and peers.

It also was in Los Angeles as a child that I understood the importance of loving yourself. There were too many opportunities to go astray, so being fully anchored in a value-system and having an established sense of self became a must.

My observations in my neighborhood led me to social justice work, which was my focus in undergraduate school as I participated in policy debate. I continued this same drive toward social justice by obtaining my Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I knew that I wanted to commit my life to help people to heal and to live life abundantly from a space of health – no matter the exposure level of societal, familial, or relational toxicity .

I am a wife, a mother, a stepmother of four, a Christian who is active in ministry, a business owner, a friend, and present family member.

If there is anyone who can appreciate restoring peace, productive communication, balance, self-awareness, and practical approaches to caring for my physical and mental well-being as well as the relationships that I value – it’s me!
